Octavi Arrizabalaga

ARYZ (born 1988 in Palo Alto, USA) is a Catalan painter living and working in Cardedeu, Spain. He began his artistic career with graffiti and subsequently built a well-established position in both mural and easel painting. His works have been presented in institutions and galleries such as the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy, Villa Pellé in Prague, Galeria Senda in Barcelona, and the Museu de Granollers. His large-scale projects and installations have also been created in exceptional architectural spaces, including the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi in Barcelona and the National Pantheon in Lisbon. Furthermore, his work has been presented at international art fairs, including Art Basel Hong Kong, ARCO Madrid, and Zona Maco. In 2024, he received a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation.
