Maciek Łazowski

Maciek Łazowski is a 2D and 3D illustrator based in Warsaw. His first name sounds like “my cheque” in English, and his last name rhymes with Mike Wazowski, which seems quite fitting given his fondness for all things weird.

Years spent drawing comics and doing design work led him towards illustration, where he combines simple shapes with non-obvious ideas. He likes to bring his characters to life through animation and is currently engrossed in VR sculpting.

He has created for clients such as BBC Science Focus, HP, HBO, and PlayStation. His work has been featured on Creative Boom and Creative Bloq, among others, as well as in solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. It can also be found in numerous publications — for both children and adults.
